Game at Arrowhead, Chiefs defensive lineman were complaining to the refs about the Donks greasy uni's and they finally checked it out, verified it and made them go wipe it off.

No penalties or ejections...cheating Donkeys.

I was there, it was not pretty.

Read Jerry Marbreit's book.

Right, like you can really just wipe off oil or grease. I'm sure on a freezing cold day like that some residue remained on the uni's. There probably isn't a rule in the rulebook because the NFL didn't think any team would stoop so low to gain an advantage but they probably could have been ejected under the unsportsmanlike conduct rule.

That's why I will forever hate those cheating bastards.

Does the book go into this incident? What's the book?

Congratulations you beat the Denver Broncos a month ago. You must feel really good about yourself winning your Super Bowl and all.:thumb:

At Dante Hall's height (ha) of success, the Donks continued their cheating ways at a home game vs. the Chiefs. The donks did something to the kickoff balls to insure that the donk kickoffs were touchbacks. (I miss Dante's bitchslapping of the donks.) According to Dante, he tracked down one of the balls that was kicked out of the endzone and noticed that something was amiss but failed to give it to a ref before one of the Donks equipment people could dispose of the evidence.

The worst thing about it was not that they were cheating, but that they delayed the game for at least 5 minutes while the Broncos players were on the sidelines getting wiped off. No penalty, nothing. As I recall this was on a goal line stand.

Jerry was the head zebra that day and in the book he was asked why he stopped the game so the donk players could wipe off the vaseline ( or some slick substance)they had on their jerseys. He could have made the second string linemen take the field until the starters got new gear, but he didn't he did nothing but stop the game until they removed the stuff.

He said, "John Elway would not get hurt on his watch."

It was the 95 playoff game.

Jan 4, 1998.

My bad.

It was the 97 playoff game.

KCbroncoHATER 01-12-2010 11:12 PM

What happened that day was after the kickoff the donks got the ball and ran a play. The chefs players said that the donks o-line had stuff all over their jerseys and the zebars agreed. They stopped the game and all the donk o-line had to go to the bench and have it removed. No flags for delay of game ... they just stopped the game.

It was in his book and that is what he said about it.
