So in theory, it is pay per view.

Never understood why players get a percent of anything when owners take all the risk.

Yeah, it's not like the players can have their ability to walk, talk, and breathe taken away from them on any given play.

NFL owners are crying about their "dire economic condition" yet refuse to release their financial records to prove this.

I'm not sure how accurate they would be anyway, all of the parking and concessions are in cash so it would be pretty easy to fudge those numbers.

Don't forget LJ's on his ass cash.

worth every penny.

My guess.

The fan.

I know you're right, and I hate what it means for us. When the next wave of success hopefully comes, it's going to be one expensive bitch. I wish and hope that the relationship between the franchise and the fans remains fair, but I know it won't. See "Giants 101".

Going to a meaningful game at Arrowhead means more to most non-season ticket holders than the "lifers", though I in no way, shape, or form deride them for their years of support. Excluding the everyday common fan and his friends/family is a slap in the face of what Kansas City is all about.

You want a great steak dinner for you and your lady in Kansas City? You can have it for under $50.00, including a couple of drinks apiece.
Now, go give your football team your first-born child for a great panoramic view of east KC up in the nosebleed seats.

I TOTALLY believe it. I read on PFT that the stalemate is due to the owners not wanting to show their books. Not because they're raking it in but because they're embarrassed to show how little they make. If the world found out how little they net, the values of their franchises would plummet like the housing market. $800 million for a franchise? Gimme a break. The owners have been riding the appreciation while writing off the annual losses on their taxes. The only reason to own a franchise is the appreciation.
