Because it's on a big screen TV and recliners are more comfortable than desk chairs.

What if you had a laptop with an HDMI output? If I forget to DVR something, that's exactly how we do it.

can't talk my wife in to doing this one. She says it would be embarrassing when people came over. I told her we can still watch the same stuff and the extra $120/month in my pocket can help me get over any embarrassment I won't fee.
