It made it pretty simple for a thief to enter my convertible and steal my stereo when I owned one, but I wouldn't let that stop ya.

Because if you wreck it, your odds of dying are much higher....

but a damn fine trip. We did it last summer...before selling my Wrangler. Music blaring....sniff......damn......

I loved my Wrangler. It was my favorite vehicle that I've ever owned. But I haul things on a regular enough basis that I just couldn't justify keeping it anymore when I can get the same mileage out of an F150. I'll buy another one when I'm rich.

CoMoChief 04-15-2010 02:21 PM

I like the new 4 door Wranglers too.

had a jeep. Loved it. I was much younger then, and didn't have to worry about noise, kids, etc. If I was 25 years old again I'd get another. I'd get an old Willys and have it fixed up like new, but thats just me.

I loved my con-flirt-able when I had it years ago. I knew when I sold it I would probably kick myself for a long time. It has been almost 30 years and my ass is still sore. :)

What other cons are there?

They’re loud.
Newer Wranglers have better tops than my old CJ but still, doing 70 MPH down the highway is like riding out a hurricane in a tent.

* Finding a bum in the backseat

That’s why you keep MOHillbilly on speed dial. ;)

You have to love it, particularly the older ones. If it wasn’t love you’d set an IED off in it. I’ve been close to that point a time or two.
