if you want an even hipper Toyota, take a look at the FJ Cruisers as well. Sweet rides...

Yeah it's in tip top shape too. I didn't get too much into talks. But I wonder why the F someone would trade that thing in after putting only 5000 miles on it. If I had that car I'd run it into the ground until I was like 80 lol. But I'm broke they probably had the money.

It may have been a demo, or even worse, a repo. Find out the history of it.

Is a repo bad? I'm dumb at cars.

Sometimes people abuse cars if they know they're getting repoed.

Probably not all that bad at that age/mileage, but it generally means it wasn't taken very good care of. It's more than likely a demo.

That would be just my luck lol. Yeah I'm gonna find out the history of it. I heard this is a good time to get a new far or fairly new car because the year is almost over. I want either a 4runner or Highlander. I'm even considering a Nissan Xterra. Everyone in this mountain town has one. Seriously you can't go two minutes without seeing like three. They look like off road cars though...

Aren't demos good though?

Not necessarily, that means the sales staff and others have been driving them, and it could easily have been abused by any of them as well. It's still not as bad as a repo though.

So is the deal I mentioned a good one you think? Depending on everything I find out of course. But so far is it? I could get a new car for that much though.

F-150? Dude, at least step up to an F-250. :shake:

I don't think it's worth the premium you'd be paying over a Gr. Cherokee or something like that.

Hammock Parties 09-05-2010 05:21 PM

He only needs an F-250 if he needs to tow/haul a lot or wants a diesel.

Me personally, unless I needed to tow a whole bunch of shit, I'd just buy a Ford Ranger, or maybe a Sport Trac Explorer.
