Yea, because....most Super Bowl winning coaches are.

I think Jeff Fisher, Mike Shannahan, Andy Reid, Tom Coughlin and Ken Whisenhunt are too high.

Care to tell us how? I'm curious.

1. Bill Belichick, Patriots (tops years ago) I'll give him that

3. Jeff Fisher, Titans

4. Mike Shanahan, Redskins

6. Andy Reid, Eagles

Oh Please!

Who wrote this? an ex-Boston college alumni sports writer?

I bet.

He inherited that team. All he had to do was not **** it up.

Second, does the name Barry Switzer ring a bell?

Mike Tomlin is a puppet. He has no say what goes on on offense or defense. He is just a fall guy.

He is decent. Not a world beater but no slouch, either.

DaneMcCloud 09-05-2010 08:55 PM

Sean Payton, followed closely by Mike McCarthy.

Joke? No. Overrated--yes.

He inherited a Super Bowl team with a pro bowl QB. And he doesn't even coach the offense or defense, really. His speciality is defense, and Dick Lebeau is clearly running that show.

His only job is to motivate and be a figurehead. With all the recent character issues in Pittsburgh and with the way they looked unmotivated when they lost Polamalu, you have to question if he's even doing that well.

He's a good coach. But I really question if he could turn a team like the Rams or Chiefs into winners.
