I could be 30-0 and Gordan could finally lay off that slider in the dirt and we'd still be losers. /Grienke

a. He can stay healthy for an entire season b. He can actually anchor A position on the team where he is the best option c. That he can be mentally tough enough to get thru an entire season before he starts falling back on his Minor League swing. I like my odds. |

Crazy, I know, but I don't expect the Royals to stand pat in FA regarding corner OF's. And, Gordon ISN'T going back to 3B, imo. So, what's left? Trade Belly Butler and have Gordo and Kila trade off at 1b? |
|
The Royals are currently 62-88. They have 12 games left. If they continue to play around .400 ball, as they have for most of the year, let's assume in the final 12 games they go 5-7. That means their record for the year will be 67-95, just five games short of another 100 loss season.
That stinks on ice, man. At least Daddy Warbucks Glass got to see a pennant winning team in Northwest Arkansas. I wonder if he ever made it to a Royals game at Kauffman this year? |
well ok, Alex. You go right ahead and try to dominate. At this point, I'll settle for "eh, he's almost pretty good, I guess"
|
In other news, Cassel states: "I'm going to throw for 4000 yards this year"

Whatever Alex had to drink/smoke last night, I will take some |
This guy's basically the Brokie of Baseball, right?
|
i am thinking he's saying that because he's changed his swing. who knows.

Alice was misquoted... He's going to Dominoes next year. To be a pizza delivery guy.

If Gordon gets 500 at bats, I will bet someone 500,000 in casino cash that he has at least 24 HRS.
