Exactly. The Chiefs organization did a lot of the things that they needed to do, rebuilding wise, with Herm as head coach. His drafts are the preeminent reason why the Chiefs are where they are now. He was just an atrocious in-game coach is all.

As a Chiefs fan, I hated Herm Edwards and I cheered when he was fired.

If I were a Broncos fan, I think I'd want to hunt down Josh McDaniels and cut him into tiny pieces. It's going to take them many years to recover from the McDaniels train wreck.

They were both extremely bad, but herm had experience and laid somewhat of a foundation. Mcdaniels torpedoed the shit out of the broncos and i think it made them the laughing stock of the AFC. The broncos next HC hire is going to be crucial to their longterm goals, but in the meantime they will be a bad football team

JMcD was FAAAAAAAAAR worse.....you can't hurt a franchise any more by completely ****ing up your way through the draft.

Herm drafted a majority of our players that are starting to come into their own as difference makers.

McDipshit's stay in Dungver has to be one of the all time worst IMO.I only wish he had stayed for several more years.

While Herm was clueless as a coach here in KC, he did bring in some talented youth his last year to replenish the old roster Vermeil left behind. McDaniels dropped a Daisy Cutter bomb on that franchise, setting them back three years at least by ejecting the very talent that WAS in place for Denver to succeed. McDaniels gets the vote.

Herm was the best thing to happen to the Chiefs in years.

1. Got rid of Carl.
2. Gave us a shit ton of young talent.

I despise Herm, but he did 2 things that helped the team while McD pretty well did nothing but tear the Donx apart:D.

Most importantly Herm got Carl fired, and he also drafted some good players.
