I nominate BRC to start the Official Game Thread this weekend. You sir, have mojo.

Yea, I agree. We have come back after an azz woopin. So I think we will have a strong game and end up with a W.
|
Game 1 of the Chiefs record setting post-season win streak.
|
The offical playoff game thread should not be left to chance
although 50 of them started at midnight saturday/sunday would be entertaining |
BRC is the one who laid down the gauntlet on this team. We cannot leave this to chance. If the Chiefs lose, we cannot risk blaming anyone or anything else but Charlie Weis. :D

As much as I'd like to see us get rid of our 'last win in the playoffs was' tag I'm a realist and think we'll be running up hill Sunday.
I say it again, time to see if we've turned the corner or are still wallowing with the pigs like sd, oakland, and denver. The raider game was another reality check where I want to believe but still not quite there yet is the best option in the poll. |

It's very possible the Raider ass-kicking will give the team the motivation they need to get in gear. Now the media is starting to look past us again, hopefully the Ravens will too.
|
I think we over-achieved this year but was actually a bit shocked when I realized just how similar KC and Baltimore are statistically.
I think our biggest concern is that our guys on the front line were playing their "A" game last Sunday and will face a similarly difficult test from the Ravens front. But if we convert the plays that are there to make we have a real shot. Baltimore doesn't typically blow anyone out so it could come down to a single play, return, stop, or kick. |
I'm on the wagon.
This season on my fantasy league I carried two defenses. The Titans and the Ravens. For most of the season the Titans D was better then the Ravens. While we did just did kicked by the Raiders we also did just kick the Titans. Every game is different and this game isn't going to be a Ravens blow out. Its's going to be tight with Chiefs holding on for a win. :shrug:The the best I got. PhilFree:arrow: |
Here is some good.
http://espn.go.com/blog/afcwest/post...in-the-west-20 By the numbers: Best in the West January, 3, 2011 Jan 3 7:50 PM ET By Bill Williamson He is a look at the final AFC West leaders for the 2010 season. There were some terrific performances -- with two NFL leaders and two runners up: PASSING YARDS Player: Philip Rivers, San Diego Yards: 4,710 What does it mean: Rivers beat Peyton Manning by 10 yards to win this crown. RUSHING YARDS Player: Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Yards: 1,467 What does it mean: Charles finished second in the NFL in this category. RECEIVING YARDS Player: Brandon Lloyd, Denver Yards: 1,448 What does it mean: The journeyman Lloyd was an unlikely leader in this area. TACKLES Player: Derrick Johnson, Kansas City Tackles: 121 What does it mean: Johnson had a terrific 2010 season. Sacks Player: Tamba Hali, Kansas City Sacks: 14.5 What does it mean: Hali finished second in the NFL in this area. INTERCEPTIONS Player: Eric Berry, Kansas City and Antoine Cason, San Diego Interceptions: 4 What does it mean: Both of these players showed they have bright futures. |
I went to bet on the game today and saw that we are three point favorites. The favorite? That's odd.
