I put a $2.00 splint from Walmart on it until I figure out if it's worth a trip to the doctor. Is it worth spending hundreds of dollars on a doctor visit and Xrays...for a finger.

Will they just splint it and then head to the bank? Anyone here have experience with broken fingers?
Which finger and which bone do you suspect is broken?

Yeah, I have the splint to keep it from being bumped. It's helped for that.

My index finger and I think it might be dislocated or broken. It's the bone right in knuckle on the middle of the finger. It feels elevated compared to my other hand. I think a tendon was pulled too. Got soreness up to my elbow. Pain only in the finger.

If it were broken, you wouldn't have pain up your forearm.

I did that to a toe I dislocated. OUCH. It never healed properly and I get arthritis in it. I am a chicken to try that again. :)
