It looks like Marty was even the instigator. The hacksaw did nothing wrong, unless Marty was ticked about something he'd done earlier.

He might have lost the fight, but eventually revenge would've been his by trading for Hacksaw and cutting him from the team. The pen is mightier than the sword.

Marty was a former LB for Buffallo. Once you have that mentality it is tough to lose it.

That's the part that cracked me up the most is that Marty instigated it.

From the looks of it, with it being the last play of the game, Marty thought the guy was going to try to pick up the ball at his feet and OOB, and try some hotdogging run.

Guess he wasn't smart then either.

Josh Freeman is bigger than pretty much everybody on that field.

Marty always had passion. This town and Chief fans are fortunate to have had him as our head coach. If he would have only stuck with Rich Gannon instead of Elvis Grbac. We would have won a superbowl.
