I don't know what to tell you. That's the exact amount printed on the tickets. I'm not trying to make any $$ on these, just want to make sure they go to a Chiefs fan.

Someone got a good deal.

This is what I paid for 2 upper level through the Season Ticket Holder presale.

I'm betting there are empty seats for this game.

Im starting to think that theres an older generation of Chiefs fans who have moved on/passed on, and a younger generation of fans who are just not as loyal. Hard to get a true sense on here, since most of us are obviously die hards.

The height of Martymania was a long time ago now.....

I tend to agree with that.

However, I also saw a huge spike in available tickets after the abortion on Sunday.

I honestly think there are a LOT of people that don't want to spend the money to watch us get whipped - their thoughts, obviously not mine, as I'm traveling 4 hours each way for this.

In a metro area of 2M, tickets should be at a premium for a playoff game, much less when it's the first one in forever. That is, if people gave a damn.

There aren't THAT many tickets out there. Hell, there's only 500 listings on Ebay right now. That's nothing.

A lot of this. Even though my age group is a little too young to be buying tickets, I've always felt like a minority because everyone else is a fan on a bandwagon team (Cowboy or Pats), Rams, or Bronco/Raider fans with a larger portion of ambivalence in others. Even if there are a good portion of 26 year olds and younger who are fans, they dont have the money to buy tickets at market value.

I bought 4 tickets pretty high up on Stubhub early on and then came across some better seats. I ended up selling the original tickets for about a $50 loss. I went through 2 full auctions on eBay and had them on CL just trying to get my money back and didn't get any interest at all.

I probably overpaid for them, but I was really surprised at the lack of demand. I thought it would ramp up once the schedule was set, but the market actually got worse.

Sounds like there's going to be a lot of Ravens fans on Sunday.

One thing's for sure, at its peak Arrowhead beats Qwest Field, but overall those fans >> KC fans by a large margin.

Yeah - I regretted immediately selling mine last week. I made about $25 a seat which was moderate. But I anticipated that I could have made $50-100 per seat if I had held until this week when Jets/Ravens fans came on the market.

I think the Chiefs dismal performance Sunday put the majority of Chiefs fans off. The majority of ticket buyers aren't spending playoff ticket money to go sit in the cold for a repeat of last Sunday so that's why the market is jacked. It's good for Ravens fans. They'll soak up a lot of tickets at face or very near it.

I regret more that I sold them to a personal friend of mine. I feel bad for him. But I guess it's not my fault the Chiefs got destroyed by the Raiders. When I sold them to him last week, he got a very good price.
