This isn't all bad.

Invite your kids to have a slumber party in THEIR room and you get to clip your toenails, scratch your balls with the tv remote after the freeky-deeky hotel secs.

Which one? The wife, or her friend?

This thread would be more useful with pics of both of them.

I don't want to put words in The Rick's mouth, but one would assume the married guy would prefer a shot at variety.

Edit: also depends whether the wife's passivity extends to the secks dept.

I guess I don't see what there is to be upset about. They are going to be at the same public place that you are. It's not like they invited themselves to your lake house or something.

Did you wife say they "invited themselves". If this were a family vacation or an entire weekend out I could see it. But for a night out at a waterpark, it doesn't seem like that big a deal. My main thing would be, we will do what we want to do when we want to do it. As long as you don't have to include them in all your evening plans then it is fine.

Tell the wife, her ****up, she is getting anal.

Dayze 09-01-2011 03:01 PM

sounds fun The Rick. See you there!

It was a spontaneous thing we decided on a couple of days ago (which makes it more fun) and I've really been looking forward to it.

Today, my wife tells me some friends of ours, and their kids, are going too. :( Guess my wife and her friend were talking this morning and my wife mentioned what we were doing. The other couple then checked it out and decided to go too, pretty much inviting themselves. Don't know if they came out and directly asked if it was OK or not. My wife is pretty passive when it comes to that stuff though so she probably didn't do anything to discourage them from going if they hinted at it.

I mean, it will probably end up being OK. It'll certainly make it easier to entertain the kids, and our kids will surely love having their friends along. Plus, it's not like we don't get along with this other couple.

I guess I just hate feeling restricted on what we do and when we do it and I'm certain that will happen. I was also looking forward to the quality family time with just us.

OK, venting over... :)

Wisconsin Dells?
