More fingerblasting and less getting caught.

I have a feeling that this is the thread that will be looked at as a joke after we win the division and win a playoff game. Last year, the Chiefs improved by 6 wins and we have an even better team this year(minus Moeaki). I say balls to the walls and FU for even thinking that Haley should be canned. Seriously, who else is out there that would do a better job?
Let's just enjoy the ride, shall we? |
We have a tough schedule and honestly, we still have some holes. I think we're between 7-9 and 9-7 this year and Haley stays. Next year is the make or break year.

IMHO he just has to show he is maturing as a coach. No or very few bonehead decisions. He has to get these rookies playing the way he got D, Bowe and Johnson playing. And those two still need to produce this year without taking a step back.
I don't think our record will be what it was last year, too many things already stacking up against us. Strength of schedule being the biggest. The loss of Moeaki being another. I am not even sure we make the playoffs. But if he can get the younger guys playing I would extend him. I would hate to start shuffling head coaches the way the Faiders have. It just upsets any progress or momentum you have to continue building. |
It's a different NFL - there's my contribution.

Unless we fall flat on our faces this year, I see no reason not to keep him on. Granted we won't be playing all the Girl Scout teams we played last year but we're building a solid foundation with this team. I don't expect playoff this year. If they happen, that's a bonus.

Haley's fate will rest in how manages in game decisions, and not gambling early in the contest. He's antithesis of Herm, but if Haley has multiple games like Herm did against SD which the outcome was shouldered by dumbass decisions then he's gone.

As long as Laz continues to hate him, I'll assume he's doing a good job and vote for him getting an extension.
