It could be they cut Langford to send a mssg while also knowing no other team needed him. They aren't sold on Langford. Though I like his ability much more than Sabby, it's not as if Langford played well at any point while with the Chiefs. If you recall, Langford was part of the Chiefs defense that allowed Orton to put up all those first half TD's awhile back.

Sometimes it just takes experience. Look at the Packers defense last year and Charlie Peprah, who played pretty damn well after awhile when Morgan Burnett was out for the season

agreed. but here's the thing - a good QB and pass rush can make defensive safeties look good. Really, that's what the problem is here in KC. They have a pass rush. They don't have a QB.
