The teams should be able to fine the refs for blown calls like these, the endzone - you can see jersey pull. Both - you know the refs are watching the QB to make sure he doesn't get hit in the head or hit late, how in the name of everything good and decent in the world do they miss those calls?

Would it be the GMs job to send to the league these kinds of farce for the football game? To get an explanation & understanding of why they keep doing it. Then for the league to take action that it doesn't become this epic of fail for the officiating embarassments.

Would a GM of Pioli stature (sarcasm) have any kind of pull to get this fixed?
