If he goes back because he wants to win a BCS champ and maybe a Heisman, good for him. The NFL isn't going anywhere.
HOwever if he gets hurt or goes full Leinhart, Sucks for him, maybe good for us. He goes back has a bad year, falls down draft boards ala Rodgers Chiefs grab him at 25 and boom. Luck swings our way. |

If you announce you are going pro, it's probably a tool for Lane Kiffin to use in recruiting to say "Hey look, you too could be the next USC QB announcing your intention to go pro!"... |
Bet he stays for another year.
|
Definitely need him to come out to help our chances with RG3.
Not worried though. He's coming out. |

FWIW, chatter in agent community is that Matt Barkley staying in school. These guys don't know for sure what he will announce, but they... Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora Close Are expecting to hear him say he is staying at USC. |

why have a press conference to announce you're staying?
 attention whore or leaving ... |
sounds like he's staying.
If so, the cost of a 1st round QB just skyrocketed, possibly to the 'cost prohibitive' stage. |

Someone is going to draft Jones higher than they should. Hopefully that's not us. |
If he stays I guess we'll have to look at Jones, Foles or Tannehill.
|
McShay has all three QBs going in the top 10. If Barkley does indeed stay we're gonna have to shell out more to move up to get one of the top two. Unlikely.

I don't know how anyone can say RGIII is a top 5 pick ........... yet.
could it happen? Hell yes, i could see the top 4 picks having 3 QB's considering the rookie salary cap. 1. Colts - Luck 2. Washington/Trade - RGIII 3. Rams - Kalil or Blackmon 4. Jags/Trade - Barkley could see Barkley going before RGIII too But if the top teams are asking too much in trade them the QB's could fall and guys like Blackmon and Claiborne could sneak up. |
