BTW where are you getting these names from?

Bill Williamson's blog on ESPN. He was on Sirius a little while ago and said Hue was also a real possibility.

I'm just starting discussion.

I haven't talked to my guy since Saturday night right before the McDaniels news became official.

I got a bad feeling its gonna be brian schottenheimer.

I also don't think Clark will go for someone who said he was gonna gut people.

FYI, Hue Jackson didn't say he was going to "gut the organization", he said McKenzie is.

But the sentiment that he is willing to throw anyone under the bus to accommodate his own desires is very true, and will give any team pause to hire him...especially one like ours.

But I'm not going to lie...bringing in someone with a vendetta against a hated rival is a tasty sentiment.

I'd rather see Clements or Lombardi.

Let's step outside the box and look at people coming from highly-effective offenses.

There's no guarantees that Lombardi can make the jump. It's a big jump considering he's going to a team with a HC that's going to have no offensive input.

The Chiefs need to hit a homerun here. Going for either guy would be swinging for the fences, but I don't know if they are going to hit.

Clements would be safer out of the 2.

So you're saying Pioli is the overseer of Crennel?

God, you're racist.

It's going to be a long couple of years if Sherun is going on another tard jihad about a coach he doesn't like.

RT @DeezNutz: Whom do you believe Pioli will hire? ... Not sure, but I know he'll **** it up.

There's no guarantees I'm going to wake up in the morning.

Let's skip the retreads and the never-weres. If we're going to do anything, we need to take some chances with this team. Let's look at some damn successful offensive systems and see who's the brightest and best from that team and get them in here.

What's the worst that'll happen? We'll have a losing record and they'll get fired? Like that's never happened before here?

It's pretty much a guarantee if we bring in the usual suspects.

The thing with all this is, yeah, those programs are nice. But they are nice because of Payton, McCarthy. Those guys aren't coming here. The Cardinals offense was nice because of Warner and Fitz. Haley was just a communicator.

I'm not against them, but I don't think these guys are necessarily the best idea with a defensive minded HC.

Mr_Tomahawk 01-10-2012 09:48 PM

I don't like any of those options.

Dirk has done squat in Jacksonville.

Zorn...well we know his history calling plays.

Hue...What a fukcing clown. What were his offenses ranked while he was an OC?

At the end of the day, I don't really think it makes a whole hell of a lot of difference.

If you have talent on the unit you're in charge of, you'll be successful.

If you don't, you won't.

See Al Saunders.
