I'm on board with the hackers thing. I never once saw it as dilemma until after the internet got big. All us old folks know the truth!!!

Condemn hymn, I solemnly say.

Is this a serious question or a joke I don't get?

This

loochy 02-25-2012 10:36 PM

People that spell it with an N are probably the same stupid people that say things like "I could care less."

FAX 02-25-2012 10:37 PM

I've never actually heard of the word spelled, "dilemna". Where did you see this, exactly?

FAX

Dilemna looks wromg to me.

That is how some of us older folks were taught to spell it. And I went to a few very good Catholic schools.

ReynardMuldrake 02-25-2012 10:43 PM

This is strange. Apparently, people all over the world have been taught 'dilemna' for years even though that spelling is not in any dictionary or textbook anywhere. Where the hell did that spelling come from? I've never seen it before.

I don't think I was formally taught 'dilemna', but I read a whole lot and always saw it spelled that way. It's such a classy spelling, unlike the peasantlike coarseness of 'dilemma'.

No.

I always say "I don't give a rat's ass".

milkman 02-25-2012 10:48 PM

Honestly, I don't give a rat's ass if the correct spelling now is "mm".

I'm staying with the way I learned it.
