Newman should have been cut three years ago.

scho63 02-27-2012 08:03 PM

That's 3 steps down from Carr-Newman sucks

What the hell did people watch last year that gave them the impression that Kendrick Lewis needs to be replaced?

O.city 02-27-2012 08:55 PM

He's been a shell of himself for 2 or 3 years.

No thanks.

The league is turning more towards just going with a younger draft pick these days. Old guys like Newman are starting to become obsolete.

Not too far off the mark there. Yet I'd still take him over Cassel.

What's Sammy Knight up to?

Lewis was the 68th worst tackling safety out of 88 safeties in the NFL last year. I liked his interceptions, but he was also out of position quite a bit. And you're always going to look better playing with Flowers & Carr @ CB. (Even Sabby looked better than he did at Tampa. But I'm not comparing the two. :thumb:) That said, he's young and should improve. But I wouldn't object if they found someone better. http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog...-the-safeties/

Wait till Berry gets back. Lewis had trash playing next to him all year. With Berry back doing his run stuffing thing, Lewis will be better able to be the ball hawk that he is meant to be.

WHY???????????

loochy 02-28-2012 08:26 AM

OMG Newman is AWFUL. WTF are you thinking? Everyone here in the DFW area knows that he just sucks nads. Why do you think the Cowboys are wanting a real CB like Carr so bad?

Do you really think that? He's a pretty damn good QB that will occasionally make a boneheaded move when he tries to do everything by himself (because most of the rest of the Cowboys team is awful). He is miles away from Cassel.

I'm a K-State fan, and while I loved T-New as a Cat, he's a mere shadow of what he once was. Keep Carr and say no to Terence.

I found a portrait of Newman from last season:

Yes. I really think that.

Romo is worthless. He is holding that franchise back more than he's holding it up.
