He'd want to much money that we need to sign our own guys. If we get brees say bye to Carr, can you live with that?

None of this makes any sense...

Losing Brees would be a blemish on the face of the New Orleans franchise.

Geez, their 3rd ranked WR (catches) had 80/1,143/8

It's like every bad arguement against getting a QB all rolled into 1 horrible paragraph.

Nice work kurt.

I think we should go after his back-up. :)

Maybe a 12 year old girl would think that.

Having them use the tag on Brees is going to hurt their ability to keep that team together. I think they were planning on using the tag elsewhere. From what I understand a tag can only be used once for each player. This throws big doubt on Drew Brees long term in NO.

I think that changed with the new CBA. They can keep tagging the same player now, but the cost goes up each time.

JFC

Brees beat KSU in a bowl game 11tybillion years ago. I am getting old. :(

Okie_Apparition 02-29-2012 03:31 PM

He's rubbing elbow with Brad Pitt & James Carvell
maybe he wants out

wazu 02-29-2012 03:37 PM

Would franchising him even stick? Can't a team trade 2 firsts and get him? He's young enough that seems in play.

yes, but Brees still has to agree to a contract with another team and don't think he will.

Brees would be foolish to leave New Orleans
