Both Maaco and Earl Scheib heat their paint in an effort to get it to lay down last I knew.
The name lives on but the corporate entity seems to have been relegated to the ash heap of history:

Ya, I remember too. $19.95 sixties, $29.95 during the early seventies. Here's the oldest I could find
