Cop is a total ****ing moron. Regardless of what may have happened before the kid stopped and turned...no threatening moves then the cop clocks him with his gun while he had his finger on the trigger. The cop is lucky as hell he didn't kill that kid.

I'm not sure why the cop felt he had to lie. I didn't see him do anything wrong in the video. I have to assume that the officer was telling the guy to get on the ground, and the guy didn't cooperate.

I think the officer gets fired, but I don't know that the guy gets a dime. He was about to rob the convenience store and got pistol whipped. Sounds like he got off easy to me.

If the cop wanted to stop him, he should have brought his tazer, or just tackled him.
