No way in hell. This sort of thing usually happens in the off-season. If you do an extension during the season, its only when you are doing really, really well.

We're ready to go to the next step of protest for inaction from Clark. An extension? Good Lord, there would be rallies, protests, and blackouts that would make the Occupy people blush.
