Yes.

There were a half dozen people, including KCTV5 and Jason LaCanfora, that reported an extension had been offered. This all happened during the game.

By about 6pm central, another half dozen people, including Peter King and Mike Florio at PFT, had reported that the previous reports were erroneous.
