Yeah that's one of my biggest fears as well. If this does happen we had better pray the Pioli is fired and we get a GM that will do everything he can to trade up.

The Franchise 10-23-2012 12:14 PM

2nd round pick:

Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Kansas City's new quarterback will need a new receiver if Dwayne Bowe leaves. I wouldn't spend the money on Bowe; he's overrated because he's inconsistent and piles up most of his stats in garbage time. He was responsible for both of Matt Cassel's interceptions against the Ravens.

The Franchise 10-23-2012 01:39 PM

3rd round pick:

Sean Porter, DE/OLB, Texas A&M
The Chiefs don't have much depth behind Tamba Hali and Justin Houston - as they discovered in the Week 1 loss to Atlanta - so they could spend an early 2013 NFL Draft pick on a rush linebacker.

I don't follow mock drafts much this time of year, are they really thinking there will be so few offensive picks in the first round? I want to say there were 25+ defensive picks?

Not surprised that Jacksonville has to draft another QB... They reached a ****ing mile to pick Glabbert.

Wouldn't you applaud them for doing it though? That would be the way to do it. You keep trying.

If the did it the Chiefs way, they'd be so scared by busting on Blaine they wouldn't try again on another QB in the 1st until 2041.

I give them credit for trying...
If the Chiefs drafted Blaine, they should never be allowed to draft anyone until 2041.

Think they hired Black Boob

It's hard to not rack up garbage stats when we are down 40 halfway through the second quarter

ct 10-23-2012 03:59 PM

i'm to the point i'm ready to pick smith, wilson, barkley, or bray anywhere in the top10. seriously, think they all have the 'potential'. i'm also to the point that for any of them to be successful, we need an offensive HC with the ability to groom a franchise qb, or none of these guys will succeed here.

Hopefully everyone outside of K.C. thinks, it could keep the price down when they resign him.
