Yup. There really is no point to fire Pioli right now.
He needs to be here to take the brunt of the blame.

Hopefully Hunt is doing the prepwork on finding a replacement though....

I agree with this. He should endure the suck just like the rest of us are.

As much as I want to see bloodshed in the FO at Arrowhead, firing either Crennel or Pioli may cause a spark with the team creating some unwanted wins.

It really serves no purpose to fire them right now, its not like we have anything to gain by winning games.

They're dead Jim. They're all dead.

What is that going to accomplish exactly?

The Chiefs are all of a sudden going to be inspired by Mo Carthon?

Clark is going to let this team ride the suck wave till the last 1/4 of the season, just like he did with Carl.

Firing Pioli RIGHT NOW does multiple things.

1. It opens the market for us to openly shop for the new GM, instead of having to hire one in the small window of an offseason.

2. It sails the white flag for the remainder of the season so the rebuilding starts... The whole organization goes into evaluation mode instead of tryomg to squeeze out wins at all cost in the next 8 weeks.

3. It acknowledges to this reeling fanbase that we have a ****ing owner that gives a shit.

Obviously it ain't gonna happen though, you're right about that.

No, but it does get the word out that there are vacancies to potential candidates and it would show the fans that Clark really does care about winning.

I don't want Clark to fire Pioli until the end of the season. We all know he's as good as gone, just a matter of when.

I want Pioli to watch as he gets raped by Haley and Peyton 2X, not take an early vacation.

This.

Stick Romeo/Pioli with this $3itty season. They made it - they should be responsible for all of it before they GTFO...

Clark can shop for a GM before he fires Pioli. We do need to get out in front of the coaching thing though its going to be a bloodbath this off season.

Sorry to say this but I have seen nothing out of Clark to believe he will be firing any one. I firmly believe we enter next season with Pioli as GM RAC as HC and Cassel still on the roster. Don't like it but it is what it is.

If that happens, we will know that Clark is selling the team and does'nt give a flying **** about winning

I don't think he does give a flying **** about winning. I don't think he will sell the team either. He gets that NFL tv contract maney every year thats all he needs.

You are out of your mind. There is a slim chance Pioli keeps his job, I dont believe it will happen but I will give you a sliver of a partial piece of some possibility on that one.

The other 2? You have to be trolling or smoking crack.
