I'm not so sure of this. I am sure Pioli will be GM going into 2013. Romeo might retire, but I would not be surprised if he too is here next season.

QBs tend to go #1 overall, and Smith has distinguished himself as the #1 QB prospect in the draft, a player worthy of the selection and slot. History and logical analysis of Smith's body of work tell us all of this.

Pioli's record and knack of alienating the fan base demand his removal, and I'd say this is all but done at this time.
