I think it's safe to assume that a new, competent GM will do what's best for this team, which is drafting a first round QB. Why are we ordering the new GM before he's even here?

Facts are facts. We need to draft a 1st rd QB.

In making a cogent argument, and thus attempting to win this argument, "vague" is not a quality that one wants to embrace.

If I were Clark Hunt, I'd get a little tired of being preached too by the fans. The list of demands approach isn't going to work here.

Express your anger, provide 'guideposts' for how to deal with it, and continue to focus on a message of hope.

Everything that doesn't push the message, detracts from it. When you start to come across as pushy, you become an irritant and the message is lost.

Option 2 doesn't imply drafting a QB.

You just know a ton of Chiefs fans would love Alex Smith. He would be a NEW QB.

We're not ordering anybody to do anything.

We're making our WISHES public.

Do we want a drafted QB or do we want them to bring in Alex ****ing Smith?

The GM that Clark brings in to replace Pioli is going to understand that. If that GM doesn't, we're ****ed anyway.

So rather than do damage to the underlying message by overstepping our station, continue to stay on message. Again, if I'm Clark and I see banners that are now telling me precisely how to run my team, I edge dangerously close to giving everyone the finger.

But the second one seems like you are trying to dictate the actions of the future GM without even giving him a chance. I agree, it does seem like "know-it-all" fans are trying to overstep their boundaries.

Stick to the most imminent task at hand. Fire pioli, and a first round QB will come if the new GM is competent.
