Good for that guy! I applaud his efforts.

What a bozo. If you're going to carry a weapon for protection, make sure the damn thing is loaded. If you carry one like this clown did, someone is going to whip your butt, take it from you, and they will load it.

whatever. If I'm in Wal-Mart grocery shopping with my kid you can bet your ass I would feel very uncomfortable with some guy picking up milk next to me while wearing an assault rifle on his shoulder. In fact the only thing that would make me feel somewhat comfortable is if I'm carrying. The real question is should I have to have a ****ing gun on me to go to the store for fear of some whacko with an assault rifle on his shoulder will be there?

What about the next guy who protests by bringing a stick of dynamite in the store? Is that okay since he might be a good guy who won't use it?

He must be hung like a horse.

Yeah, I always carry a box of random ammunition just in case I come across someone with an unloaded gun who's ass I can kick.

He's a ****ing piece of shit for that. I'm all for people having their weapons, but walking around with an AR-15 is not okay. Walking around with any gun that's not concealed isn't okay IMO.

I give this topic 1.5 more pages before it's in DC.

Why would it be OK concealed?

listopencil 01-18-2013 04:53 PM

I do have an issue with the way it is slung. It would look a lot cooler at a higher angle, and I wouldn't want to get poked with the end of the barrel if I was standing in line next to him.

listopencil 01-18-2013 04:54 PM

Can that weapon be slung like this?

IMO, walking around a department store with a rifle is much like someone walking around with a python or tarantula. It's a public disturbance that's not needed. Put the tarantula in your pocket please.

You don't cause a panic if it's concealed. A person walking into a store with an AR-15 in full view is very likely to incite panic.
