Exactly this. Every team in the NFL misses.

All the teams that picked the players that this story says we should have picked, missed somewhere else in those drafts.

Ironic coming from the guy who has done this with both Rodgers and Flacco.

You have to draft the right IMPACT players. That was Pioli's main problem. No impact players.

For every Rodgers or Flacco a team drafts, 4 or 5 guys flop. Without even looking, ill bet the rest of the 05 draft for the Packers or the 08 Draft for the Ravens wasnt that great .

BlackHelicopters 01-30-2013 05:41 PM

Shoulda, coulda, woulda. I wish I had two girls at once at some point during Pioli's last four years. Big deal.

This bastard should have just reprinted the Pioli Doc.

Calling McCluster a luxury piece is laughable. He's like a dollar-store bracelet.

• Chiefs picked: G Jon Asamoah, Illinois

• Could have had: WR Eric Decker, Minnesota
This is a new one, considering most people regard Asamoah as a Pioli win. He's a solid starter at RG for sure.

But considering the absolute failure of the Pioli regime to find skill position talent, it's a black mark now.

Pasta Little Brioni 01-30-2013 06:21 PM

Decker wouldn't have done shit here the last 2 years.

Hes a fine complimentary piece. In fact, most of *****s picks barring 09, are decent complimentary picks. Liike said before, his main problem was lack of KEY IMPACT players and bad head coaches.

Nah, Decker isnt some world beater, he'd be just another guy without manning.

A solid starting lineman isnt anything to be ashamed of.

McCluster isn't a fine complementary piece. He's not talented. He doesn't do anything remotely special.

This is inaccurate, because he scored 8 TD with Tebow. In basically his first season as a regular player.

His inability to make people miss is special IMO.

Given how much our current coach values linemen and how well our current GM appears to scout skill position players, I'll take Asamoah. He might be one of the few players that Pioli drafted that Andy Reid can actually use.

Pasta Little Brioni 01-30-2013 06:34 PM

The Asamoah pick was fine. Decker's JAG anyway.
