A ridiculous question, if serious, but it would probably make more sense than Columbus Day.

I think they should move the game to Saturday and push it back an hour. What is the difference between 13 or 14 days off in between games?

Yes,I didn't want to go in today anyway!!!!!!!

No, we are mostly responsible adults and should be aware of the impending date with the time clock, and maybe not party so hard when that date is less than 24 hours away. If you insist on eating wings and drinking beer to the point of incapacitation, plan accordingly and take the day off ahead of time.

Any day off work is a good day off work.
I work in America for a German company. It's insane how much time off the Germans allow themselves. They go on "holiday" and aren't back in the office for at least a month. |

I voted yes, but they would probably just give bankers and government employees the day off and the rest of us would be ****ed.

I'm fine with this as long as we include the first two days of March Madness.

New Years Eve should be a national holiday so I wouldn't have to work the damn thing.
|
It's a ridiculous notion considering that election day should be a national holiday before just about anything else...

Yes. We have one for Christopher Columbus, and all he did was get lost looking for India, land in North America and call the natives "indians", and then proceed to give everyone syphillis. AND, he wasn't even the first European to come here.
But, we can't have one for an event that 8 out of 10 households partake in? What gives (says a guy that is at work and all his friends took the day off due to hangovers) |
