It's purpose that binds us, purpose that connects us. It is purpose and the Curse of CoMo that brings Geno and Margus Hunt to KC in the 2013 draft. |

I loved that first kick block highlight. It was full on internet "stay down bitch" after he did it.

This is the only full game I've watched. What I liked: Active hands, good swim move, solid pass rush playing both the 3, 5, and 7 tech against a spread team. What I didn't like: Poor reads/awareness against the run, seemed to not hustle as much as I'd like (nitpicky I know). I've only seen highlights before but I think he's definitely worth taking at 2.2 if the rest of his film is like this. Then again, I place a higher importance on getting a pass rush from your 3 tech than most so I'm a biased ****ing asshole. |
Depends what WR are on the board, IMO.

Probably going to be a few good corners as well. It's amazing that 2 of our biggest positions of need can be had at 1 and 2 and we have to sit here worrying that we will instead go with Joeckel to kick things off. Not to mention that safety is deep this year as well.

If we were to sign Cullen Jenkins to help out Hunt, that would be absolutely incredible.
We'd be set at having 2 (provided Poe develops) interior rushers along with Tamba and Houston for several years. NOM NOM NOM |
Additionally, Hunt has on occassion flashed a spin move. Now, this might not work as effectively playing the 3 or with added weight, but I do think that it is something to look at as a tool for him playing the 4/5 tech in base fronts, provided he learns how to set it up correctly and be shortens his outside step.
It is pretty quick though for a 3-4 DE project. |

But honestly, I doubt he can gain that much. |
