Here's to hoping he improves with coaching and scheme changes.

TC fodder /idiot fans

Good, but still the same team as last year. They better make an impact in the draft.

HolyHat 03-05-2013 04:42 PM

bye bye Glenn Dorsey. Its been real.

It had to be done. He even knew it.

In58men 03-05-2013 04:43 PM

So now we wait for Dorsey

I have no idea how to feel about this.

I think...indifferent.

I was slowly moving towards preferring to cut him as I don't think he's going to take a paycut and instead has probably signed an extension that spreads his absurdly high salary over 3-4 seasons (a back-door paycut). Even at that, I don't think he'll be worth what he's going to get paid.

But, he's a known quantity. So I guess there's that.

I'll wait until I see the numbers. If his cap figure is down in the $3-4 million range now, I can live with it.

Still waiting for Cassel's RELEASE!

I suspect he took a one-year deal ~4-5 mill. He was only gty'd ~3.22.

I'm going with the known quantity factor.

This team has too much talent to be dramatically overhauled in one offseason. A gradual process is the best one.

This is a good signing, but unless Jax turns a corner here soon, it's best thought of as an intermediate-term signing.

I honestly can't imagine it could be beyond $5 million per.

Hopefully, they can find another starter in free agency so that they can focus on safety, CB, WR and ILB in the draft.

Sassy Squatch 03-05-2013 04:45 PM

They're trying to trade him IIRC. GL with that Dorsey.

In58men 03-05-2013 04:45 PM

More of a reason to Draft Dee or Geno

Marcellus 03-05-2013 04:46 PM

Even though he redid his deal there is no guarantee he makes the team.
