Gonzalulz

It's funny/sad/pathetic that a 40 year old TE would bring in more fans than a newly drafted QB would in this town.

He is a better actor than Winston, though not by much.

Tony should quit now. Even if he returns to ATL he will be drinking Matt Ryan tears when they lose the first playoff game. He should consider himself lucky to get one playoff win. They barely pulled that one out.

:spock:

He is never coming back, he can play for a team on the doorstep of the super bowl.

his life would be so bad making another $7M, not having to participate in training camp, and padding his already first ballot hall of fame stats while he remains on top of his game.

Tony Gonzalez is my favorite Chief ever...the dude is amazing.

The fact all of the lol Chargers trollz once proclaimed Antonio Gates would break all of Tony G's records was great...

Tony Gonzalez has not lost a step. He remains in his "prime" at age 37. Antonio Gates has been washed up now for 2 years. Hilarious.

You are hysterical.

This should have been put in the random thoughts thread.

Because there are younger, cheaper players available. Plus, if he's going to comeback it for a shot at the SB. That's not happening here this season.

At this point I don't think it's about the money. Going out with a playoff win is possible now but come back next year could go either way. Matt Ryan typically crumbles in the playoffs

I think it is ALWAYS about the money in the NFL. At least that is priority #1.

And There is absolutely nothing wrong with that if one chooses that course...

totally agree

I was going to say 'all of sports' but a lot of time in the NBA the mega superstars who make hundreds of millions like Shaq or Malone will sign 1 years towards the end of their careers with contenders to try and get a ring or more rings.
