There is a green draft beer from yesterday in the fridge.

Happy to hear

Smart move on his part - he'd have been awfully foolish to give the Chiefs a chance to gut him loose after the draft.

DaneMcCloud 03-18-2013 12:13 PM

Smart move, considering that he'll be the highest paid LT in the game. With Jake Long taking $8.5 per and Duane Brown's deal a little less than $9 million per, Albert will be lucky if his deal averages $8 per.

He might as well take the money and run.

Dorsey/Reid

OrtonsPiercedTaint 03-18-2013 12:15 PM

At 9.8 he would be a LT to the tradee.

Reid does like rescinding.

I thought the number was an average of the top 5 salaries?

Based on last year's LT's. I don't know of any LT's earning that kind of money this year.

There's more value in trading Albert, for anything really, than rescinding.

Which would mean a couple last year must be making more than his number. Joe Thomas maybe?
