This.

Whether it's via Albert or trading down, I want 2 picks in the 2nd rnd. There is a lot of meat this year in the 2nd.

I'd say 1.12 this year their #2 second and their 1st next year works. Future 1st = current 2nd

In this particular draft, I would say moving down to 12 and picking up a 2 and a 3 would be just fine. This draft is short on greatness at the top, but has strong depth. The second round is going to be good this year and the third will be very solid. There is nothing at the top that is so great.

At this point? Yes, you take that trade.

bsp4444 04-15-2013 10:29 AM

I don't think it is too much to ask for the Dolphins to pony up their 12th, this year's second and next year's second to move up to 1.1.

**** that. Jesus christ. The national media expects the Chiefs to just happily take it in the ass in a trade down scenario - and the worst part is the fans just being like "YEA GREAT DEAL."

It's not a great deal. It's not even a good deal. It's a deal that is raping you in the asshole. You stand pat and take the best guy on your board if that is the best offer you get. Period.

Yeah, the Chiefs are much better off with Joeckel or Fisher rather than two to three impact starters.

By the time you get to pick number twelve, the top 3 pass rushers will be off the board, the top 3 tackles will be off the board, the top 2 QBs will be off the board, and the top three five-techs will be off the board. Milliner will also be off the Board. So. Who are you going to take? There is a steep drop from 1 to 12 in talent level.

Nonsense

First off, the "strength" of this draft is its depth. People believe you'll get the same talent at ten that you will at 40.

Secondly, I think your projection there is WAY off. Regardless, there will be a starter at #12 for the Chiefs and there will be a starter at Miami's second rounder, making the Chiefs a better team.

What would *I* do at #12 based on your projection? Warmack or Cooper or Austin.

Nightfyre 04-15-2013 03:23 PM

LMAO. So you draft a goddamned GUARD. Troll.

Tavon Austin.

Yep.

And if that doesn't appeal to Reid, take another trade down offer from somebody who might want Barkley or Austin themselves.
