I wouldn't call it mundane, but I don't want a set of pots and pans for Mother's Day. I'd have to use them to cook for my family which I have to do anyway. I want something that is for me and me alone that reminds why I cook for my family: mother's jewelry, a family portrait, a day away, a plant from each family member, something that will make me smile every time I see it.
Hell give me the pots and pans on my birthday.

Oh, I get it. You want a dildo.

Do they have Burke Williams or similar in the KC area? A spa day is usually appreciated by moms.

This will be my first Mother's Day without my Mom. May she R.I.P.

Sorry to hear that. First holidays are always tough.

bevischief 04-20-2013 03:57 AM

Does she really want a pan set? This is where the grand kids can help out... Don't have to be yours...

I would think a gift certificate to a day spa would be a better choice.

not for my mom

she wouldn't like strangers touching her AT ALL

Spott 04-20-2013 11:06 AM

I'm going to dig her up and surprise the hell out of her.

Red Brooklyn 04-20-2013 11:09 AM

I'm gonna call her. And she's gonna be grateful.
