was it Dilfer and the Ravens?

closest to that has been what, the Jets with LT/Shon Greene and that defense that got to them to two AFC championships

I think this model for a team in 2013's NFL is very outdated and gives you a horrible chance to be competitive with all the passing teams

I am not saying we are having a bad draft, just that we seem to take sleepers in every round. Do not understand why, is it so if one of them pans out we can say look how smart we are. We are getting no press and we had the #1 pick. They have nothing to say because we are drafting the way we are.

how do you know they are "sleepers"?

Maybe they are sleepers to the NFL Network and ESPN...

but I'm willing to bet these guys were all very near the top of the Chiefs draft board.

After the 3rd round, reaches do not exist.

I would just be nice to hear people who do this for a living, say I can't believe this player fell this far!! The chiefs got a steal. Instead you hear nothing. Looks like a draft of future role players on a team that went 2-14.

Both teams in the Superbowl last year had great D's and pretty good running games.

I did not mean martyball- no passing-lol But I think we are going to run- A Lot!!

This is a guy you get from another team. He must have good teeth, be a great person, say the right things to the media, and make his coach or GM fall in love with him.

If he can hand off the ball or throw it more than five yards, it is a bonus.
