Dartgod 05-15-2013 12:32 PM

That sucks. My neighbors found out their dog has cancer recently.

So did I understand you last dog had cancer too? Any chance you can get a cat next?

:D I don't mean to be an ass. I'm very sorry for your dog and just trying to lighten the mood.

Sucks. Sorry to hear that. Dogs truly are man's best friend.

Demonpenz 05-15-2013 05:03 PM

I am sorry. Try to get a laugh in once in awhile. Helps with the pain.

bevischief 05-15-2013 05:08 PM

Thanks everyone. I have been treating him with natural cancer cures. Started it last night after I got the news so far so good. He is about 9 yrs old. Still don't know how far it has spread. Being aggressive with treatment seemed almost normal this morning.

bummer man. Sorry to hear. We just adopted a, what we believe, to be a 10-12 month old short haired poinoter. She was a stray that was picked up by the humane society; she is reallllllly skinny.

but she's eternally grateful already. We have 3 dogs now, and I'm not looking forward to one of our 10 year old dogs getting to the point where we need to make tough decisions.

Sorry again man.

Mav 05-15-2013 06:46 PM

Sorry to hear man. That sucks

houstonwhodat 05-15-2013 09:00 PM

Bummer.

I have my dog in my arms in front of the keyboard now.

My mom lost her dog last week right before mothers day.

Take care of that lil doggie.

Dad's golden retriever had a bad leg. Took him to the vet and X-rays showed huge rumors. It was either amputate or euthanize. He was getting older, and there was go guarantee amputation would take care of the cancer. Dad chose to put him down. Sorry to hear about this.

WhiteWhale 05-16-2013 06:51 AM

I had a bunch of dogs as a kid and none of them got cancer. It wasn't until I got older I noticed it's pretty common among older dogs.

Seems golden retrievers are the most prone. Every one I've known has died of cancer and the first tumors always seem to appear on the hind legs. :(

Sorry for you, more sorry for your dog.
