I've thought that the whole time. It was public negotiating. They never seemed serious about trading him to me.

This is only a test with peoples careers at stake here that is all.

I'm telling you; Reid is TERRIFIED of a disintigrating O-line since his Philly crew fell apart. This whole move was about legitimizing the drafting of a fatty with that pick. What Reid didn't realize, is that your average fan does nothing but DREAM of a return to the days of the Vermeil line, and that he can draft them to thunderous applause from now until Jesus returns.

We have done nothing to make us a contender. Better, yes.... but a contender, not even in 2 years.

We suck until we get lucky (until further notice)

Albert better hope he never has to miss time for injury cause I'm willing to bet Fisher takes his spot & he'll be left to suck on a big 'ol chili dog.

If he misses significant time this year it's going to cost Albert big

I'm actually impressed he wasn't traded. I was sure he was gone.

Kudos to the reeruns in charge.

They couldn't find a fullback they liked enough to make a deal.

Why is Mellinger dragging this up again? Albert made peace with everyone and is excited to be back. Let it go. If he has a good start they will b prob ably give him a nice extension.

It is a bit premature.

Eric Fisher is younger, with the same type of athletic ability.

Albert still has technical issue that you have to wonder if he'll ever get it right.

If Fisher takes to coaching and gets the technical aspects of the position down, then he will almost certainly be better, though it is pretty incredible how well Albert does, given his flaws.
