Party with Denver Bronco personnel. Don't let them drive, though.

How come I never see any "Planning a trip to Idaho" threads? ,or Rhode Island, Maryland, etc.....

It's always Colorado, Vegas, Florida, California.......

Trail Ridge Road is a must see. Spend as much time there as you can because it's so phenomenal. Estes is nice but very touristy we always just spend a day there and go instead to Grand Lake which is spectacular. Colorado Springs is not far from there and it's worth the trip. Garden of the Gods is free and quite beautiful and the trip up Pike's Peak is fun now that it's all paved and I don't shit my pants driving on winding gravel roads with little room for error.

Any suggestions? We are scheduled to visit Estes Park and Boulder. I'm actually going to be stuck in Boulder for a week so if anyone has suggesting let me know.

Would like to find something cool to do in or near Denver near the end of the trip. Fire away!

If you are willing to drive an hour or so west on I-70 you should check out Frisco. It is a larger, nicer version of Estes.

I would agree. I like Frisco much better than Estes. Unfortunately, Estes is nothing but a bunch of t-shirt and candy shops these days.

Step 2 needs to be replaced with visits to Zengo and Rioja. Mmmmm, good food.

If Casa Bonita is still there, that place is awesome. Also the Kansas Highway Patrol is notorious now for catching people coming back to Kansas on I70 with weed. Alot of times they set up shop not too far from the boarder and get you. And DO NOT try the Old Highway 24 trick either, they are on to that as well.

Casa Bonita is an experience for sure, but calling it awesome is a stretch. The food there is average at best.

But those Sopapillas are, I haven't been to that place in a long time, but the though of those Sopapillas makes me want to drive there right now. Hope those have not gone down hill.

Rodizio Grill for Brazilian food, pretty good stuff. If your wife is into flowers and such check out the Botanic Gardens.
