Yeah but that will cost about $4k or so, right?

adkproaudio.com is awesome.

Nice build man. I'm Rocken a similar build myself, and crush everything I have come up against. The 7970 kicks ass.

Why wouldn't you do it yourself? Building a PC is as easy as putting together legos, except.. easier.

Nothing will fit together in a way it is not supposed too.

Because I'd rather just have someone else do it for me.

Fair enough.

The build you linked seems decent enough for the price, but why not get some more RAM since you are using it as a workstation. RAM is cheap and goes along way in a workstation environment.

Yeah I will probably get 24GB.

I could build that comp for half that, probably.

Why aren't you using Blackmagic video cards instead of a graphics card?

Really? I thought you of all people was a DIY'er when it came to PC's. You buy pre-built? This makes me sad.

I haven't done this before. I've been building my own PCs for 15 years.

I'm to the point now where I'd rather just have someone else do it. My work is sloppy anyway.

I'll be installing my own video capture card.

It's obviously a nice rig. Thing is if you are watching TV, Youtube, etc, your connection can fail you more than a five year old piece of crap. His system does sound real nice though, congrats.
