He does make a very good point. No one knew of Cooper and had the 49ers not drafted him, it's likely he'd have signed elsewhere and wouldn't have been on waivers.

The main part of an agent's job is not only to sell the player/person but to sell themselves. It's why the best QB's in the biz always wanted to sign with Leigh Steinberg back in the day or why the best baseball players always sign with Scott Boras.

Some agents just have appeal that others don't.

I will admit that I said WTF when I read that part in the article

That agent really likes himself.

Where is the chapter in this novel that details Cooper being abused by Manning in Denver last week?

Are you joking?

You'll have to excuse him. The extent of his game analysis was hearing Collinsworth say that Manning was picking on Cooper.

Great read.

I don't have a problem with the agent. He is new at it and proud of Cooper and proud of himself. Seems straight up to me.

Although the long read it's great to hear that Coop has great character, work ethic and talent.

Looks like we hit a homerun with this one and Dorsey only has one season under his belt.

Look at what Foles is doing in Philly, that's right , Reid found him.

Is Bray going to be our Dan Marino ???

The future is so bright, our years of sufferage are closing right before our eyes.

We used to have a vote in this shit?

He certainly loves the pronoun "I."

Pretty sure this guys says the Eagles called about Cooper.

"So I said to the 49ers, "Dallas just called and they're thinking about drafting him, and the Eagles just called and they're thinking about drafting him. I know that you guys have five picks in the seventh round, so are you going to use one on him or not?"

You might be right, but it depends on when this quote was given. If this interview took place before cooper was cut by SF, imho it gives some credibility to the agent.
