I'm GUESSING alternator, went from running fine [for years] to dead battery in ~1.5 mi. New battery bought 09/12. Got a jump at first HWY exit [High Hill] started fine, just barely made it to the next exit [New Florence].

W/in that mi/mi&1/2, first running fine, then came off cruise, then went to L3, then lights dimming, then lights out, engine still running, coast stop and engine dies on stop.

O'Reilly's etc, long closed and many many miles from where I was [though, now back home, the alternator is under warranty, O'Reilly's is 1/2 mi away, and my home charger/regulator is on the job].

ZZ Top laughs at the notion that a guitar and a beard trimmer remotely go together.

My two besties so far are a "workout king" type, wick sweat away t-shirt with some awesome graphite looking graphics in the shape of a football with CHIEFS at the bottom and a smaller KC logo over the heart, and a bottle of Polo Red.

Polo Red is some wonderful stuff btw, it goes perfectly with my black, blue and greens... don't wear them often, but when i do LOOK OUT.

My son got a ton of amusement outta one of those from me two years ago, took it to his Marine station at Camp Pendleton where someone promptly broke it dropping it from second and third floor windows and then trying to control it lol.

He got another one to mess with this year, i could tell he got his moneys worth from the last one... don't care how old you get, every guy loves toys, wish we'd had this kinda stuff when i was young.
