He'd have a much better chance of getting a ring by sitting on the Miami Heat's bench.
|
Maybe he's just going to do that act he did here, where he doesn't want to go to training camp

And no one wants to trade for a guy who only wants to play 1/4 of the season... |

Can't imagine why any team would be too interested...haven't they already built their respective teams by week 11.

TE was supposed to be a large part of our offense and every one of them, with the exception of a marginally talented dude with a huge beard, got broke. Even with his talent limitations the system made Duck Dynasty look decent. Imagine TG in that role. |

If there are injuries, teams will be calling.

I think it's more so he doesn't have his last year end up like last year. He only wants a ring. It's a very arrogant thing to do, but I don't think anyone would really complain if the chiefs were able to sign him late next season for the playoffs. He's always had his own training regime, so it's not like he'd be out of shape. Sure he's being selfish and only doing it for another chance at a ring, but wouldn't that be the attitude you want to sign for the playoffs? I'd do it in a heartbeat. That being said, if he comes back to play somewhere other than KC, **** you Tony!

Injuries ya...but i can't imagine that all the players on the team would be ok with a guy coming in week 11 who hasn't helped them at all up to this point.
I would think that many players would have the mindset of "you can't just shuffle in here at the last minute and think you helped us get to 9-2". Maybe not with all players, but if they didn't like him skipping off season stuff, they aren't going to like this. Seems like it would be bad for team chemistry...that's all i was saying. |
