The Chiefs are in a pretty serious bind. The skill positions are deficient, the OL is now completely unproven, the secondary play is subpar, there are only two legitimate pass rushers, and they don't have much cap space to work with.

It's the obvious move for Albert, he lives down there and Miami has a history of overpaying middling players.

But none of us should bear Branden any ill will. He played fairly well for us over the years. Good luck to him.

They would have been better off rebuilding last year.

In otherwords The Dick Vermiel years except neither side of the ball is elite but atleast has some pieces to build around long term.

Question is if you aren't going all out to win it all within the next 3 years why make that Alex Smith trade?
