Who doesn't like a good Chinese buffet, slap on the feed bag and leave in a food coma.

Haven't been in like forever. Maybe it's a regional thing.

I like that everyone in my household can have everything they want for breakfast without me having to start cooking at 3 a.m.

This is a fail parody thread, because...
Well, I don't even want to go into it. |

The key to a good buffet is having good food. Far too many buffets have terrible low-quality food. One can never be too careful.
As a minor story, I was in Dayton, Ohio, a few years back and had a hankerin' for Chinese food. There was a restaurant near the hotel, so I went over. It turned out to be the largest buffet outside North Korea.* We're talking acres of stuff. You want sushi? They had sushi. Barbecue? The ribs are over on that wing. Crab legs? Jello? Fried chicken? Tacos? Want a caesar salad? Cobb salad? Waldorf salad? Tuna salad? Chicken salad? If you wanted it, you could find it on that buffet. When I went in, I was in shock at the size, and some old Chinese woman did the Lassie thing to lead me to a seat. There was no pricing anywhere - not a single sign or label in the place - and I was leery. But it was a huge restaurant and it was packed, so I decided that it must be a good deal. So I set my worries aside and had watermelon and dinner rolls and crab legs and broccoli with cheese and some chocolate cake for dessert. When I got my bill it was something like $15. I guess it was like Wal-Mart where they got price breaks from their suppliers due to their massive volume. * - I'm assuming that Kim Jong Eun has a massive buffet where he eats every day. |
Cuz there are no old black people there?

I love Chinese Buffets the best, I hate Pizza Buffets, it only takes two greedy mother ****ers to hog up all the damn pepperoni.

Old people, or people on a fixed income care about quantity. Generally speaking what people value on food depends on social class. For example poor people going to dinner at someone's house care first and foremost about how much food is there, will there be leftovers they can take home. Middle class people care mostly about how the food tastes. Upper class people care mostly about the presentation or the meal. |
