Where'd this come from? I thought it was because he was pulled over in Springfield a while back with a pound of weed in the vehicle.

Two reactions:

1) This can't be tolerated, and I expect he will be gone if he is charged in this case.
2) What an astronomically stupid thing for him to do. All he has to do is make it one 12 month period without getting in trouble, and he's a millionaire. Pretty much guaranteed. Now, if he isn't incarcerated, he's going to have to rely on doing things the hard way (lower round pick, fighting for a roster spot, carrying the baggage)

A little bit of weed is not a big deal. This... if it is what the rumors are... is a very big deal.

No charges were filed against him in that case because the police were convinced:

A) He didn't know there was that much weed in the car or have anything to do with it
B) It was his friend's vehicle, and that guy said it was his (this was a friend from HS he was hanging out with over Christmas Break)
