It is not a fake headline, but rather a misleading headline. When you hear the name Peyton Manning, there is only one person you think of. For that split second, you think the football player may have done something bad.
The point of the original article is to drive traffic to HuffPost. Even though most people realize it's not the football player even before the page loads, they click on the link anyway. The thread starter thought they would capitalize off that same principle to drive traffic to his post. I'm not sure if that is punishable here, but I guess we will find out.
Just for the record, I don't care one way or the other.
